The president visits Sandusky

President Obama toured northern Ohio in July and I got to follow him in the motorcade. I was honestly more excited to see Pete Souza,
who was my first photography teacher and is the Chief Official White House Photographer, so the president was just an added bonus.

One of my favorite parts was driving through towns and seeing hundreds of people who stopped what they were doing to see if they could catch a glimpse of their president
and wave at the passing vehicles. Like the kid standing on his front step in his pajamas holding his game controller and headset. One of my favorite photos is of Faith
Konieczny wiping tears from her eyes after meeting President Barack Obama at Kozy Corners, her grandmother's restaurant in Oak Harbor. Can you imagine the Secret
Service walking into the room and stating that the president will arrive any minute? It has to be one of the last things anyone expects to happen to them while sitting down for lunch.
