Mom I updated my blog just for you.

My class had an environmental portrait assignment and Sean Cannon, a sophomore aviation major, was nice enough to drive to the Gordon K. Bush airport with me to pose in the plane he flies during class. It was definitely interesting trying to pose someone. I wasn't really sure what to do, but Sean was awesome about it and just explained what everything in the plane was while I snapped away. I tried to pretend I knew what he was talking about. This guy knows what he's doing.

If I weren't a photojournalist

Today I photographed a story for The Post on the Senior Dance Concert in Putnam Hall. It really made me miss Class Act Dance Studio in the small town of Clyde, Ohio. Then I got sad because I'm not living in Lincoln Hall next year and they are going to have a dance studio in there. Guess I'll just have to keep sneaking into the combative room at Ping when no one is around...

Ripley's Marvelous Mirror Maze

I was rummaging through my photos from spring break and stumbled upon this happy memory. My family and I went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and went into the new mirror maze that Ripley's built there. I gotta say, their museum is alright and their moving theater sucks but their aquarium and mirror maze are awesome. The maze was pretty hardcore. They even made us wear gloves so that we wouldn't smudge up the mirrors. My little sisters and my dad and I were so a-MAZE-d by the thing that we ran around in there until we got dizzy and felt sick. I kinda get lost just looking at the photos. I'm in one of them.
