A Room With a View

Since I moved into my house at the beginning of winter quarter I haven't been able to stop taking photos of my windows. After living for a year with an air conditioner for a window in the dorms, I can't get enough of the sunlight waking me up in the morning.

I had some great times learning from my good pal Spenser Heaps and getting to know him during our Small Systems Lighting class. Learning about strobes was fun too.

Thanks to Mr. Heaps for helping me set up the new iMac I post this from and for being just as excited that I finally saved up enough money to purchase it as I was. Expect more posts than you can handle.

This time tomorrow.

It's strange how you can know someone for a couple years and then one day, you actually meet them.

It's strange to look in my journal to see it's been just short of a year since I've written in it.
It's strange to remember so vividly the faces of the people that share these events I felt so compelled to write about.
An event like leaving a restaurant after being seated to run across the street to a more affordable restaurant, leaving behind full glasses of water.
It's strange I smiled at that.

A year from today.

This time tomorrow, I hope it's snowing.

Get on the Bus

When you are Alysha Whitacre and you turn 21, you don't just have a party. You find a pimped out school bus, fill it with booze and haul your friends and family around town. Happy Birthday Alysha.
